Who… are we?

Wordsworks copywriting agency was set up by Gareth Chadwick in 2003. Gareth is a professional journalist and copywriter. He trained in Manchester and London and edited a monthly legal magzine in Kensington, London. Realising that although the streets of London are paved with gold, most of it already belongs to someone else, he moved back to Manchester in 2000 to become a freelance journalist and copywriter.

He’s written for regional and national publications, including:

  • Sunday Times
  • The Times
  • The Independent
  • Manchester Evening News
  • The Lawyer
  • Legal Director
  • In-House Lawyer
  • Managing Partner magazine

Since setting up Wordsworks as a copywriting agency, the team has grown to four. Where the project demands it, we also have a panel of other highly skilled copywriters, with considerable experience in the fields of copywriting, journalism and advertising. And there’s Justine, who looks after the office and admin side of things. Without her we’d suffocate under a pile of bills and paper clips.
