Vestas Wind Systems is the largest dedicated wind energy company in the world. Based in Denmark, it manufactures, sells and installs wind turbines. The company operates manufacturing plants in Denmark, Germany, India, Italy, Britain, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, China and the United States. It employs more than 20,000 people globally.
Wordsworks was invited to pitch to become the company’s English copywriting partner in 2009. It means we undertake the copywriting and copyediting for a huge range of the company’s communications, from websites to video scripts, customer communications to adverts, product brochures to annual reports. We even get to visit Denmark – which is always a bonus.
