We were commissioned to write an executive summary for a 120-page DTI report on the size and role of the environmental technologies sector in the UK.
This involved thoroughly reading the full report and picking out the key themes, liaising with the research team where necessary, and then integrating the main elements into a cohesive executive summary, written in a more reader-friendly, plain English style.
The subsequent executive summary was used by the then environment secretary David Miliband at a public press conference.
