Britannia is the UK’s second largest building society, with over 250 branches across the country.
Wordsworks has worked with Britannia on a number of projects, ranging from information flyers for new products, customer communications and material for the organisation’s Annual General Meeting.
We generally work with an outline or brief developed in house at Britannia. Given the nature of the financial services sector, much of the information and products we write about are quite technical. We use our understanding of the sector, the company and its customers, to ensure a straight forward, easily understandable tone and content, with minimal jargon.
Sometimes the outline draft is sufficient for us to simply refine and edit into a consistent style and tone. But often, we will need to supplement the outline with information from other ad hoc sources. We’ll then refine and re-write the whole thing, ensuring a punchy, dynamic structure and consistent tone of voice that aligns with the organisation’s brand and market positioning.
