NaNoWriMo is an annual seat-of-the-pants novel-writing programme for anyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but is put off by the time and effort involved. Participants begin writing on the 1st November. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel by midnight on November 30th.
