Addleshaw Goddard

Project
Writing a corporate reputation guide, client website and legal articles for trade publication.

The Brief
At short notice, Wordsworks was asked to write a series of articles for a corporate reputation guide that Addleshaw Goddard was publishing in conjunction with the CBI.Guide

The Scope
The Guide involved 11 x 1,000 word articles, each looking at a different legal angle of reputation management, such as corporate governance, environmental responsibilities and health and safety.

For each article, the main source of information was the appropriate partner at the firm, so we interviewed the partners over the course of ten days, before drafting the articles.

All eleven articles were written and approved ahead of Addleshaw Goddard’s own deadline.

The Results
Addleshaw Goddard has become a regular client of Wordsworks. As well as lengthy projects like the corporate reputation guide, we’ve interviewed partners and ghost written in depth articles for the trade press and edited existing marketing material.

We also wrote the copy for the firm’s innovative and award-winning Client Development Centre, which included planning the editorial structure and tone of voice for the site.

Christian Collinson, corporate affairs manager at Addleshaw Goddard solicitors, likes what we do. He says that, “whatever the deadline, by getting under the skin of difficult briefs and complicated subject matters, Wordsworks consistently delivers compelling editorial on a wide range of topics.”
